Launch of celebrity advent calendar
Seth Conway Media recently transformed the historic Exeter Cathedral into a digital stage for the launch of Spark UK’s celebrity advent calendar. The groundbreaking event, live-streamed by Seth Conway Media, delivered an hour of music, dance and mental health awareness to schools across the country.
The celebrity advent calendar is a highlight of the year for Spark UK. They’re an organisation run by teenagers spearheading a change in the way young people think and talk about mental health. Tthis was the first year that they have organised a launch event and we were delighted to be able to livestream it for them.
Celebrities like Stephen Fry
Now in its fourth year, the teenagers behind Spark UK could not have predicted the success and support of their on-line All-Star Advent Calendar campaign. It features daily inspirational messages from a host of well-known faces. They are especially delighted to welcome back, friend and supporter of Spark UK and mental health advocate, Stephen Fry, for his third appearance. Also joining in on the festive mental health campaign were new faces Aisling Bea, Gregor Fisher and Joy Crookes, as well as many others.
Conor Warren, aged 17, and CEO of Spark UK is excited for 2023’s campaign to be bigger and better than ever. He said, “We are so excited to have brought the launch of the All-Star Advent Calendar to the iconic Exeter Cathedral. In partnership with Teacher’s Rock, the morning featured school choirs from across the county as well as performances and talks from a host of inspirational people. Thanks to Seth Conway Media, the event was livestreamed for free to schools across the country, as well as a live audience of students in the cathedral.
Overcoming technical challenges
To livestream in a 600 year old cathedral brings with it a host of technical challenges. But with the skill and expertise of Seth Conway Media, we were able to deliver a flawless two camera livestream onto YouTube.
