Football, festival, forests, flying and fires. This month has been all about the F words.

Seth was thrilled to start the month at St. James Park, home of Exeter City Football Club, where he filmed two live broadcasts. Using a three-camera set up, Seth and Camera Assistant, Owen were able to give a multi angle view to the game – with some top vision mixing from apprentice, Arthur!

From football to a cider festival, it doesn’t get much better for Seth! He joined partygoers for one of north Devon’s first festivals following the pandemic. After having to postpone last year, Sam’s Cider Festival 2021 bought the local community back together for a chance to let their hair down and Seth was more than happy to join in the cider drinking, whilst filming and taking photos of the night.

The forest was where Max Woosey, The Boy in the Tent, chose to spend his 500th night, wild camping. Seth Conway Media supported North Devon Hospice in generating PR for Max’s celebrations. Using our media contacts we were able to get publicity coverage online and in print in the Guardian, Independent, Daily Mirror and Daily Express as well as local newspapers and on BBC Breakfast, The Jeremy Vine Show on C5, Sky News with Kay Burley, BBC Spotlight and Rob Beckett on BBC Radio 2. Max has now raised an incredible £670K for North Devon Hospice and has no plans to give up!

Another wonderful local event that returned this month was Ilfracombe Round Table’s Birdman competition. Owen was on hand to capture the soaring efforts and daring plummets of the many hand-crafted flying machines taking off from Ilfracombe Pier.

The month concluded with Torrington Cavillers big burn. Seth offered his compere skills to the night and what a fantastic night it was. Using drone, Seth was able to capture these incredible images prior to the burn.

To finish with another F word…family. Last month we mentioned we were expanding, and we are pleased to say that the family business is growing as Seth’s wife Laura has joined the Seth Conway Media team. Bringing her business, PR and communications skills, we are able to increase our services, offering our clients quality video, photo and written content and helping them get it in the right places.

After another busy month, Seth and Laura managed to take a few days off this month to spend some quality summer holiday time with their family.
