July news

As the sun shone in July, Seth has worked his way around Devon and Cornwall where he started the month in St Austell delivering media training to an Executive Board. With over 20 years’ experience as a broadcast Journalist, Seth offers advice and skills on dealing with and responding to the media as well as interview training.

On his way back he popped to West Buckland School where he had the privilege of filming Olympic legend, and former student, Jonathan Edwards. This was the second time Seth had met Jonathan, the first being in 2012 when Seth interviewed Jonathan when he carried the Olympic torch through Ilfracombe ahead of the London 2012 Olympics.

Back in the North of Devon, Seth has been working with our local clients filming and editing product videos, testimonial videos and instructional videos. Using his range of Sony broadcast cameras Seth is creating videos of the highest quality for our clients.

Seth was delighted to help our incredible local charities this month where he filmed the Floating Bye service for the North Devon Hospice using both drone and Sony cameras. He also filmed drone footage of Children’s Hospice South West ahead of a royal visit from their patron, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

With the pandemic limiting parents from schools, Seth lent his skills to our local primary school to film their summer performance allowing parents to get to see their hard work.

Seth finished the month helping two of the region’s top sporting teams. Exeter Chiefs had the benefit of Seth’s experience for their video analysis. While Exeter City Football Club returned for more live streaming of their pre-season friendlies. Live video streaming is becoming more and more popular, and we are delighted to offer these services at Seth Conway Media with multiple camera angles, on screen graphics, replays and the ability to broadcast live to YouTube and other streaming services.

As a videographer Seth is often asked by his clients to help put the content he has created in the right places. Therefore, Seth Conway Media is expanding and as well as video production, we are providing PR and communications as well as advice and guidance on internal communications for businesses. More on this next month!

Whilst he’s had a very busy month, Seth found time to get his second Covid vaccine, cheer on our amazing England football team in the Euros and have his first go at paddleboarding. Whilst Seth wasn’t a natural at SUP, he’s vowed to keep practising…we’ll make sure we have the camera when he does!
